BONNIE’s Obituary Bonnie Thomason, 78, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018, at St. Anthony’s Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center. She retired from Field and Main (formerly Ohio Valley National Bank) after 33 years of exemplary service. She was known by many for her infectious smile and personal service.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Carl E. Thomason, who died October 19, 2008; two sons, Jay Thomason, who died in 1964, and Daniel Alan “Danny” Thomason, who died March 13, 2008; and her parents, Julian Crawford Haydon and Marianne Brashear Hibbs. Survivors include her sister, Julianne Meuth of Henderson, Kentucky; brothers and sisters, Brad Haydon, Artie Haydon, Mary Brzozka, Jimmy Haydon, Linda Caulk, and Charlie Haydon; in-laws; nieces and nephews; and her beloved Yorkie, Abbie. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.

The Reverend Alan Chamness will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice or New Hope Animal Rescue Center. Pallbearers will be Ryan Brown, Jenny Brown, Christopher Meuth, Jr., Max Meuth, Mason Meuth, Hunter Shields, and Ryan Rosene. Bonnie’s family would like to thank her guardian angel and caregiver, Kay Bryant; her friends, Nancy and Terry Todd, Cody Bach, and Libby Brown; her caretakers, Lindsay Thompson and the St. Anthony’s Hospice staff; and friends and staff at Colonial Senior Living.
