Obituary for Brenda Greer Rouse Brenda Greer Rouse, 71, of Bristol, VA went home to be with the Lord Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was born in Bristol, VA on April 20, 1947, a daughter of the late Howard and Bonnie Stevens Greer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Andy Lee Rouse; brothers, Howard (Bud) Greer, Jack (Jacky) Greer, and Grant (Dink) Greer; and very special daughter-in-law, Tammy Rouse.

She attended Community Baptist Church in Bristol, TN. She was a hairdresser for five years and a wonderful homemaker after that. She loved fishing, being on the water, shopping, and vacations to the beach.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Andy Rouse; son, Randy Rouse and girlfriend, Lora Childress; sisters, Joyce Campbell and Donna Ball; brother, Robert Greer; grandchildren, Chris Rouse, Bryan Rouse, and Skyler Rouse; very special great grandchildren, Koral Rouse and Connor Rouse; 14 nieces and nephews; and 39 great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services, 417 Lee St., Bristol, VA. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Todd Crusenberry officiating.

The committal service and entombment will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Mountain View Cemetery Mausoleum, Bristol, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be sent to Bristol Life Saving Crew, 1601 Euclid Ave. , Bristol, VA 24201.
