Obituary for Alvah B. Wagner Alvah B. Wagner, 89, of Bristol, Virginia passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born in Hopewell, Virginia, on January 23, 1929, a daughter of the late Neill Jefferson Burney and Martha Rosa Wyche Burney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Leach Wagner, Sr.; her brothers, Hal, Tommy, and N.J.; and sister, Sue.

She attended King College and was a very active member of Central Presbyterian Church in Bristol, Virginia. Alvah is survived by her four children; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Central Presbyterian Church, 301 Euclid Avenue, Bristol, VA with Pastors Frank and Ann Aichinger officiating.

A reception will follow the service. A private entombment will be held at Mountain View Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Presbyterian Church, 301 Euclid Avenue, Bristol, VA 24201.
