Obituary for Brenda J. Maupin CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Brenda J. Maupin, age 64, of Centerville, Indiana, went to be with the Lord Friday, April 20, 2018, at her home. Born November 17, 1953, in Lansing, Michigan, to Donald and Olive Jane Rader, Brenda lived in Wayne County most of her life.

She was a homemaker and formerly worked as a cook. Brenda also babysat for many friends and family members. She was an avid Bingo player.

Brenda loved traveling with her husband and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, James “Tuttle” Maupin; son, David Rader of Richmond, Indiana; grandchildren, Ashton Rader, Liza Crutcher, and Madison and Erin Rader; great-grandsons, Braxton and Holden; sisters, Teresa (Gary) Swejkar of Centerville and Pamela (Billy) Sparks, Gladys Dreaden, and Darla May, all of Richmond; sister-in-law, Fran Rader; nieces, including special niece, Shannon; nephews, including special nephews, Lane and Dustin; cousins; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Donald Eugene Rader Jr., Gayland Elmer Rader, and Stuart Wayne Rader; sister-in-law, Sharon Rader; and other extended family members.

Visitation for Brenda J. Maupin will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery.
