Brenda J. Patrick Miller, age 76, of Elizabethton, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 5, 2019 from the Johnson City Medical Center. Brenda was born in Elizabethton to the late Donald Nathaniel Patrick and Eunice Theo Garland Patrick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Novella and Wilma; one great granddaughter; and her uncle, Walter Patrick.

Brenda was a homemaker and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Those left to cherish her wonderful memories include her loving and devoted husband of 36 years, Kenneth P. Miller, of the home; two sons, Dwayne Letterman and wife Priscilla, and Shannon Lowe and wife Anna; three stepsons, Burnie Lowe, Anthony Miller and Kenneth Wayne Miller and wife Jessica; her grandchildren, Samara Letterman and Shane, Sean Letterman, Cody and Aaron Lowe, Zach, Dakota and Nathan Miller and Katelyn; and her special cousins, as well as her aunt, Margaret Grindstaff. A service to celebrate the life of Brenda J. Patrick Miller will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 9, 2019 in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton with Mr. Richard Hilton, Mr. Ron Lee, and Mr. Robbie Hilton, officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, prior to the service on Thursday. The graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 10, 2019 in the Forbes Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be the boys that hung out at Brenda’s house in Eastside: George White, Jimmy Wandell and Jimmy Jones.

Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:50 AM on Friday. A special thank you from Brenda: to Ron and Debbie Lee for allowing me to work in the outreach ministry of Calvary Church and Carl and Cathy Miller for the pleasure of sharing God’s word with homeless people. It was Brenda’s wish that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Forbes Cemetery for the upkeep of my grave space, my Mother’s and two sister’s grave spaces.
