Mrs. Bridget’s Obituary Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His Faithful servant. So, while Bridget’s life song ended on January 9, 2019, know that her melody lingers on. Her spirit has taken its flight at the call of the Heavenly Father to the mansion prepared for her from the foundation of the earth by an all-wise and loving God.
Our Heavenly Father has transitioned her from the labours and suffering of this life to the sweet rest and fellowship of the saints in Heaven. Everything now is perfect. Bridget is now victorious over evil through her faith and has been given a place in the new earth, and a full experience of the truth of Emmanuel and eternal destiny.
A Time to Born Sis. Bridget Brown Green was born November 8, 1967 in Amityville, Long Island, NY to the late Bennie Lee Brown Sr. and Elder Ida S. Brown. A Time to Live Bridget moved to Vance, SC at an early age where she attended the public schools.
She graduated from Holly Hill-Roberts High School, Class of 1986 and Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College as an Associate LPN. She was reared in a Christian home and worked faithfully with Biblical House of God, Vance SC. Later, she moved her membership to True Faith Baptist Church where she served as Minister of Music, Sunday School Teacher, member of the Pastor’s Aide Board, Program, and Decorating Committees.
She especially loved her work with the Youth Department, where she created plays and made costumes for their programs. A Time to Love On September 15, 1988, Bridget was joined in holy matrimony to Rev. Joe Louis Green, Jr
This union reared two boys. A Time to Laugh Bridget was a jubilant person that loved people. She especially loved children.
She was very creative with music, arts, and crafts. A Time to Transition Sis. Green went to be with the Lord January 9, 2019.
She will be greatly missed and remembered for her caring spirit. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Irene Taste and Sharon I. Anderson. A Time to Mourn She leaves to cherish fond memories: Her loving and devoted husband, Rev.
Joe Green, Jr., of the home. Two sons, Joe Green III and Bryan Daniel Green, of the home; One grandson, Noah J. Green, of Eutawville, SC. ; Two brothers, Bennie Lee Brown, Jr., of New York and Gregory Brown, of Bridgeport, Ct.
; One sister, Sandra (James) Richardson, of Blythewood, SC. ; Three brothers-in-law, Richard (Margaret) Green, Kenneth Green, and Tyrone Green of Holly hill, SC. ; Two sisters-in-law, Catherine (Joe) Hatcher, of Atlanta, Ga.
and Mary Ann Green, of Holly Hill, SC. ; one Godchild, Ashley Green of Warner Robins, GA; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may call at the residence, 226 Damascus Drive, Vance and at the funeral home.
