Obituary for Brother Elmer Immonen Brother Elmer Immonen June 22, 1930-December 22, 2018 On December 22, 2018, Brother Elmer Immonen was reunited with his beloved wife, Helen (of 55 years). He is survived by his loving daughters: Janet (Rick), Christine (Richard), and Doris, (Tony); grandsons: Winston (Katrina), Michael (Sigal), and Robert. Brother Elmer Immonen was born on a small farm, in the tiny town of Green, in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

As a young man, Elmer joined the Navy and trained for his lifelong career as a machinist. When Elmer was in his late 20s his dear friend Howard introduced him to the love of his life, Helen. The rest, they say, is history… A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, January 5, 2019, 10:00 am-Noon.

Keehn Funeral Home, 706 W. Main Street, Brighton, MI. 810-229-9871. Followed by a luncheon at Ciao Amici’s, 217 W. Main Street, Brighton, MI.

Interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd. Holly, MI in the spring. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to ALZ.org or to the Evangelical Homes of Michigan-Saline, 440 W Russell St, Saline, MI 48176.
