Burke L. Hamby September 29, 1965 ~ March 25, 2019 Burke L. Hamby, age 53, passed away on March 25, 2019 in Aurora, Colorado. He was born in Ogden, Utah on September 29, 1965 to Lem Hamby III and Jerrie Swenson Hamby. He is survived by his daughter, Shyann Marie Hamby; mother and stepfather, Jerrie and Hugh Denniston; sister, Charisse (Mark) Hupp; and brothers, Bart (Tammy) Hamby and Trent (Misty) Hamby.

Also surviving are his Grandma Marinda Swenson, Aunt Bee Warner and numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Lem Hamby III; Grandma Blanche and Grandpa Lem Hamby Jr. and Grandpa Joe Swenson. Burke loved fishing, horses and the outdoors.

He never met a pair of boots he couldn’t wear out. Burke lived by the cowboy code. He loved his daughter Shyann with all his heart.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Mendon City Cemetery. Family and friends may visit with family on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
