Carl Edward Noto, a native of Kenner and resident of Gretna, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at the age of 76. Carl is survived by his wife, Burneice “Bea”; three stepdaughters, Ashley Rodrigue Arnaud and her husband Michael, Heather Rodrigue Baio and her husband Joey and Nikki Rodrigue; a stepgrandson, Cameron Rodrigue; two sisters, Susan (Dan) Waters and Jeannie DeCarlo and her husband Lou; a stepdaughter from a previous marriage to the late Margot Noto, Gina Mire and her sons Blake and Wyatt; as well as several neices, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugenia F. Noto and Morris Noto.

Carl was known by thousands around the greater New Orleans area for his 30 years of reliable, quality patio service. Carl was loved by many for his boisterous personality, good-time attitude and generous spirit. He loved spending time with friends and family, riding motorcycles and socializing at local hangouts and diners where he’d never leave without having made a new friend.

Carl was a die-hard Tulane fan with season tickets to watch the Green Wave roll at Yulman Stadium. Carl faithfully served God at St. Joseph’s Church in Gretna. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 610 6th Street, Gretna, LA on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 8:30AM until 10AM.

A Memorial Mass in Carl’s honor will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10AM. A celebration of life gathering will follow in the church social room. A private burial for family is scheduled at a later date.
