OBITUARY Carl Lloyd Almany Jr. May 17, 1969 – July 11, 2018 Carl (Bammer) Lloyd Almany, Jr. of Conover passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 11th at his home. He was born May 17, 1969 in Transylvania County to Gloria Jean Almany and the late Carl Lloyd Almany, Sr He was survived by his loving wife of 20 plus years, Wanda Moretz Almany of the home; his sons, Carl (Tater) Lloyd Almany, III, Casey Lloyd Almany of the home; his mother, Gloria Jean Anneblo and step father, David Anneblo of Conover; his sisters, Vickie Almany Dow and husband Martin Dow of Taylorsville, Cindy Jean Johnston and husband Frank of Madison County; granddaughter, Journey Almany, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Almany, Sr., grandparents, Carl and Annie Almany, Virgil and Rosalee Garrett; uncle, Frankie Garrett and aunt, Rachel Garrett. Services will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Hickory Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Longview.
