OBITUARY Carlos A. Lopes June 26, 1943 – October 15, 2018 Carlos A. Lopes, age 75, passed away Monday, October 15, 2018 in Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Susana (Rodrigues) Lopes to whom he was married 42 years. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores a son of the late Alvarino and Maria Lopes he was a longtime resident of Rehoboth.

A veteran of the United States Army he served during the Korean Conflict. A talented mason for over 50 years he was still working at the time of his passing. An avid deer hunter he was also a fan of the New England Patriots.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two brothers and two sisters. His Funeral will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 8:00 AM from Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd. , Swansea, followed by his Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Dominic’s Church, 1277 G.A.R. Highway, Swansea.

Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. For tributes and directions: www.
