Obituary for Carol A. Szott Carol A. Szott, Saginaw Twp. , Michigan. Loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Covenant HealthCare-Harrison.

Age 74 years. Daughter of the late Howard and Irene (Engelhardt) Hannon, Carol was born January 21, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to James F. Szott on May 5, 1962.

He survives her. Carol was employed at Sears and Roebuck for 19 years retiring in 2004. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

Carol enjoyed Bingo, the Senior Center and especially spending time with her family. Surviving besides her husband Jim are two daughters and one son, Jim and Cindy Szott Jr., Saginaw; Debbie and Craig Baybeck, Saginaw; Kathi Szott, Saginaw; six grandchildren, Cortney Szott, Jimmy Szott, Christopher Szott, C.J. Packard, Kyra Baybeck and Kylea Baybeck; her brother, Howard Hannon, Saginaw; several nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Elaine Hannon.

Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2018 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State St., Saginaw. Rev. Fr.

Richard A. Bokinskie will officiate with entombment in Oakwood Memorial Mausoleum. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, the Arthritis Foundation or Angels Among Us.
