Carol Howard, 71 of Clarkdale, passed away on April 9, 2018. She was born on January 23, 1947 in Grand Forks, ND to Nels and Delores Gustafson. Carol worked as a Histology Technician.

She was a lover of animals. Carol was preceded in death by her grandson Michael Gordon Roberts and granddaughter Carleigh Rae Roberts. She is survived by her husband of 34 years Ray Howard of Arizona; daughters Gina Leigh Selnes (William Neely) of Arizona and Holli Lyn Taff (Michael) of MN; brothers Don Gustafson (Carol) of MN, Roger Gustafson (Sharon) of ND and Doug Gustafson (Shellie Lundeby) of ND; sister Lori Quanrud (Paul) of MN; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at the United Lutheran Church in Grand Forks, ND on Thursday, April 26, 2018. Visitation will be held at 10:00am with the service following at 11:00am. Carol will be laid to rest at Pine Cemetery in Pine, AZ on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11:00am.
