Obituary for Mrs. Carolyn Crews Mrs. Carolyn Crews, age 72, of Peachtree Corners, Georgia, and formerly of Elberton, peacefully passed away on October 10, 2017 at Peachtree Christian Hospice with her loving family by her side. Carolyn was the daughter of the late Robby Robinson and Elsie Butler. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Joann Robinson Heaton and her stepfather Fred Butler.

She was married to her loving husband of 53 years, Gayron R. Crews. In addition to her husband, Gayron, Carolyn is also survived by her sister: Janice Roberts; and step-sisters: Lisa Richardson and Freda Stratton. She also leaves behind a niece, Renae Roberts; great-nieces: Mia and husband Kyle Parham, and Megan and husband Emmett Balchin; and great-great-niece: Georgia and great-great nephew: Eli.

Funeral services to celebrate Carolyn’s life were held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton. Rev. Dale Moody and Judy Moore officiated.

Interment followed in Forest Hills Memorial Park in Elberton. The family received friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning just prior to the service. Arrangements for Mrs. Carolyn Crews were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton, and Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory in Peachtree Corners.
