Carolyn McKee, 82, of 2601 Willow Brooke Dr., Shelby, passed away April 18, 2018 at home. Born June 13, 1935 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Alvin Rush Campbell and Vernie McEntire Campbell. She was retired as the owner and operator of Macks Livermush and was a member of Rehobeth United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George William McKee; brother, Gary Campbell; sisters, Christine Martin and Monty Floyd. Survivors… Read More » include son, Ron McKee and wife Kim of Shelby; daughter, Lori Flowers and husband Steven of Gastonia; sister, Joann Newton of Casar; grandchildren, Caylea Jenkins of Asheville, Gray Burn of Morganton, Madison McKee of Shelby, Kristian Adams of Gastonia and Erica McKee of Shelby. The visitation will be 6:00PM until 8:00PM Thursday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be 3:00PM Friday at Rehobeth United Methodist Church with Rev. Randi Godfrey officiating. Burial will follow in the Rehobeth United Methodist Church Cemetery.
