William Franklin Lattimore, 87 of 511 Belwood-Lawndale Road, Lawndale passed away, Sunday June 17, 2018 at Hospice at Wendover. Born March 21, 1931 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late William Worth Lattimore and Ruby Pearl Hamrick Lattimore. He was retired as a personnel supervisor with Cleveland County Social Services and also served in the US Army.

Survivors include his wife of sixty one years, Frances Burcham Lattimore; son, Bill Lattimore of Hickory; daughter, Pam Shearin and husband, Bill of Lawndale; two sisters, Elizabeth Dedmon of Cherryville and Phyllis Powers of Cherryville; five grandchildren, Jessica Shearin Propst and husband, Lawson, Katie Lattimore, Dan Shearin, Adam Marshall, Josh Lattimore and Jordan Lattimore; great-grandchildren, Luke Propst, Jenna Propst, Jack Propst, Bella Garcia and Emma Lattimore. Visitation will be 2:00PM until 3:00PM Tuesday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be 3:00PM Tuesday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with R. Edward “Ed” Crotts officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston. Memorials may be made to Hospice at Wendover, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
