Amelia Ann McNeilly went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 9, 2018. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her Dad, Mom, Lucy and Coco. Amelia was born January 9, 1985.

She was preceded in death by her Granddaddy Lee Dayberry and MawMaw Mildred McNeilly. Amelia is survived by her parents Donnie and Sara McNeilly, Granny Barbara Dayberry, PawPaw Donald McNeilly, family pets Coco, Lucy, Sissy, T-Bow, Ann and Rowdy; and a special aunt Ellen Poston. Amelia was blessed to have many special friends who stood by her every step of the way. The family would like to say a special thank you to all the hospice staff, her special caregivers, Stacy, Justine, Tammy, Angie, Jodie, Anita, Allison, Cynthia and Candy and her friends from Care Solutions and Healthy at Home. In lieu of flowers the family would ask all memorials be sent to Vale Veterinary Hospital, Amelia McNeilly Animal Care Fund, 9286 NC Highway 10 West, Vale, NC 28168.

This is a special fund that will be used to treat animals who do not have the funds for the care they need. Someone provided the money to treat Lucy who was a great joy to Amelia. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston.

The celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday at 3:00 PM at Corinth Baptist Church, Casar, with the Revs. Robert Goins and Brian Elwell officiating. The burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.

There will be an ice cream party following the burial in the fellowship hall, at Amelia’s request everyone is invited to attend. Condolences may be made online at www. stameytysingerfuneralhome.com.
