Linda Carico Cooke, 68 of Oak Grove Clover Hill Church Road, Lawndale passed away, Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Carolinas Healthcare System – Cleveland. Born March 19, 1950 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Theodore Carico and Lillie Mae Bumgardner Carico. She was a member of Calvary’s Cross Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Donald… Read More » Bryson Cooke; a daughter, Stacy Desporte and husband, Gary of Asheville; step-son, Alan Cooke and wife, Sandra of Shelby; step-daughter, Deborah Jolly and husband, Reid of Boiling Springs; four sisters, Lois Greene of Rutherford County, Nancy Carpenter, Dorothy Russ and Barbara Chapman all of Cleveland County; and five grandchildren, Brandon Cooke, Justin Cooke, Drew Jolly, Wesley Jolly and Anthony Desporte. Visitation will be 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, Calvary’s Cross Baptist Church.

A Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, at Calvary’s Cross Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Boone officiating. Memorials may be made to Calvary’s Cross Baptist Church, PO Box 637, Polkville NC 28136.
