, he was preceded in death by his parents Ike and Thelma Morris and his aunt and uncle who raised him Eva and Ed Knight. Carroll was a loving husband, father and grampy to his family. He enjoyed 50’s and country music, classic cars, especially 57 Chevrolets and Elvis.

Anyone that met him knew he had a southern charm about him and smile that would make you feel at ease. He was known as Tootie to friends and family. Tootie is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rita Jones Morris, two sons, Michael Allen Morris, Stephen Macon Morris and a daughter Anita Renee Morris-Burdine, a granddaughter whom he loved as his own daughter Kasey Christian White and her fiance Shawn Dabney, six grandsons; Joshua, Matthew, John, Luke, James Morris and Hazen Morris- Burdine, 5 additional granddaughters, Amber, Sherri White, Ciera Thomas, Eva Morris and Morgan Morris-Burdine; three great-grandchildren; Kirsten Fitzgerald, Jayden and Levi Dabney.

He also has two brothers; Isaac Wayne Morris and David Bradley Morris and sister Brenda Morris-Londeree; brothers and sisters in-law, numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 in the Chapel at Hill and Wood Funeral Home.
