Obituary for Catherine E. Albano Print Catherine E. Albano, 93, died on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Midstate Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Meriden, Connecticut on August 5, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Carlotta (Mancini) Albano. She was a lifelong resident of Meriden.

She was a graduate of Meriden High School and Laurel Business School. For nearly 50 years, she was secretary of Alderman Cadillac, retiring in 2008. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Bruno, Vincent, Rocco and Alfred Albano and her sister, Carmel Albano. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 11 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
