Obituary for Virginia Fontanella Virginia Fontanella, age 66 of Nashville, TN passed away January 11, 2019. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island on May 27, 1952. Virginia was a school teacher in her early career, but then became a stay at home mom.

She was a CASA Volunteer in Williamson County and worked for the Williamson County DUI Court. Preceded in death by her husband, Victor Fontanella and her mother, Joyce Palumbo Survived by sons, Brian (Ali) Fontanella and Daniel Fontanella; father, Gennaro (Sandy) Palumbo; brother, Norman (Joanne) Palumbo; sisters, Felicia Palumbo and Mary Ellen Palumbo; her beloved greyhound, Hester. Family and friends may call at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, CT 06450 on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.

A graveside service will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society of Nashville, 2000 Charlotte Ave. Nashville, TN 37203 or Greyhound Pets of America Nashville, PO Box 1042, Goodlettsville, TN 37070.
