Obituary for Michael A. Maniscalco Michael A. Maniscalco, 89, died on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Masonicare. Born on February 25, 1928, he was the son of the late Groilando (Sperlazzo) and Corrado Maniscalco. Mr. Maniscalco was a member of the International Operating Engineers Local 478.

He was a proud veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Army. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. He was predeceased by his son, Michael Maniscalco and his sister, Marie Gearity.

Mr. Maniscalco also leaves behind a dear friend and care giver, Michael Civali. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Cemetery, 250 Gypsy Lane, Meriden, CT 06450. Military honors will be accorded.

There will be no calling hours. Should friends desire, contributions in his memory may be made to the VA Connecticut Healthcare System West Haven Campus, 950 Campbell Avenue, West Haven, CT 06516. Arrangements are under the direction of the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, CT 06450.
