Obituary for Peter Reid Fitzgerald Peter Reid Fitzgerald, 78, husband of Joyce Agli Fitzgerald for 56 years, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at home. Born in Meriden on December 27, 1940, he was the son of the late James A. and Marina (Piovoso) Fitzgerald. Peter resided in Meriden and had graduated from Meriden High School.

He served with the U.S. Army and was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church and Mary Our Queen. Besides his wife, he is survived by the world’s best daughter, Colleen M. Fitzgerald. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Saturday, January 12th at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish, Mt.

Carmel Campus, 109 Goodwill Ave. , Meriden. There are no calling hours.
