Obituary for Kenneth Kupstis Kenneth Kupstis, 52, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Midstate Medical Center. Born in Waterbury, Connecticut on November 28, 1966, he was the son of Linda and the late Richard Kupstis. He had resided between Orlando and Las Vegas.

He attended Meriden Schools and earned his Bachelor of Arts from St. Thomas of Villanova University of Miami, Florida. After a brief stint at CNN, Ken became an accomplished writer and actor. He appeared in a number of movies playing various roles as well as publishing three books.

In 2010, he suffered a major stroke and was taken care of by his wonderful and devoted caregiver, Bryant and staff ever since. Ken’s upbeat attitude, humor and spiritual outlook inspired others positively. He is survived by his sister, Kate Kupstis and his brother, Kevin Kupstis.

He also leaves behind his nieces and nephew, Kaleigh, Kyle and Alexandra. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral to be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, CT 06450 and at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish, Holy Angels Campus for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be private.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home prior to mass from 9 to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ken’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
