Family will greet friends from 4:00PM to 6:00PM on Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Rooks Funeral Home, 213 West Church Street in Fort Valley. Services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, December 10, 2018, at First Baptist Church, 209 South Miller Street in Fort Valley with Rev.

Ed McQueen officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Born in Byron to the late Joe Sullivan and Mattie Lou Howard Sullivan, Mrs. Lister was a beautician and member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Sybil Chapman of Byron, Brenda Ferrara (Rocky) of Macon, and Linda Prather (John) of Marietta; grandchildren, Jennifer Utley (Brian) of Gray, Amanda Guay (Chad) of Cumming, Johnny Prather of Atlanta, and Jennifer Rentz (Andy) of Sugar Hill; great grandchildren, Sara, Will, Leila, Ellis, Austin, Katie, and Sidney; a sister, Peggy Kitchings of Fort Valley; and a nephew, Barry Kitchings (Mary) of Milledgeville. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Lister. Rooks Funeral Home in Fort Valley is in charge of arrangements.
