Cephus Nebraska Archie January 09, 1932 – May 04, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Cephus Nebraska Archie, 87, of 145 Westwood Drive, Danville, VA, passed away, Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Riverside Health & Rehabilitation Center, Danville, VA. Born January 9, 1932 in Rock Hill, SC, he was the son of the late Walter Lee Archie, Sr. and Annie Blake Archie. He was married to the late Ruby Batts Archie.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Survivors include two daughters, Trina McCorkle and Carla Archie both of Charlotte, NC; one son, Keith Archie of Woodbridge, VA and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by eight siblings. The family will receive friends at the residence.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 1 PM from Loyal Baptist Church with Rev. Emmett Young, Eulogist. Interment with Military Honors by American Legion Post 29 will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 4-8 PM. Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home is assisting the Archie family.
