Charles Arnold Robinson, 76, of Torrington went home to eternal peace with our Lord June 27, 2018. He was the husband of Carole, his one true love. Charlie met his wife when he was 11, and spent his life with her until her passing in 2012.

He first and foremost loved his family and built his entire life around his wife and children, be it the 60’s band he formed with his sons, or the gas station he turned into a 25 year thriving family radiator shop. He was known for sponsoring and owning race cars. He loved his Siamese cats, camping, and just simply being home with his wife and family.

He was rarely seen without Carole by his side, and was a kind, caring, gentle man who would help anyone. He will be sorely missed by his family and will be forever in our hearts. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Travis Robinson and wife Nancy Hearn, Chuck Robinson and wife Mary, his twin daughters Carole Robinson II and Joanne Robinson, grandchildren Travis Robinson Jr. Charles Robinson, Jody Duhaime and husband Darren, Sierra Robinson, Amanda Ross and husband James, and Jade Dlugokinski.

He also leaves great grandchildren Kevin Robinson, Drake Duhaime, Chayse Robinson, Juliette Robinson and Gideon Robinson, dear friends Joe Bergin and Susie Mota, and his kitty Bella. He also leaves two brothers and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Carole, he was predeceased by his parents Arnold and Frances Robinson.

A Memorial service will be held At Trinity Episcopal Church 55 River Rd Collinsville CT 06019 Sunday July 15th at 1:00 PM. A celebration of Life will follow at he same location. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to any food bank.
