OBITUARY Charles C Speer March 10, 1947 – October 26, 2018 Charles Speer, 71 of Louisville, passed away October 26, 2018. He was the son of the late Thomas Speer and Ethyle Hamilton Speer. Charles was in the Navy for 6 years, during that time he served on the USS John Kennedy.

After his time in the Navy, Charles worked for General Electric and became a member of Southeast Christian Church. He is survived by his loving wife: Barbara Cooper Speer; his children: Melanie (Jacob) Steier and Joshua Speer; his grandsons: Logan Steier and Parker Steier; his 3 sisters: Betty (Bob) Buchheitt, Sharon (Inder) Chawla, and Kay (Tommy) McGowan; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 PM Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Rd.

Louisville, KY 40218. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at the funeral home.
