Obituary for Charles D. Lambert Bluefield, WV- Charles D. Lambert, 60, of Bluefield, WV, passed away on Tuesday June 5, 2018 surrounded by his family after a courageous, 11-year battle with cancer. Born January 21, 1958 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of the late Emmett H. Lambert and Ora Beatrice Townley Lambert. Prior to his illness, Charles worked for Swope Construction.

He loved the outdoors and was a fishing enthusiast. He enjoyed yard sales and flea markets, and he loved history and researching family genealogy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Lambert.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Frank Lambert of Bluefield, WV, Sharon Chaney of Morgantown, WV, and Phyllis Prout and her husband Steve of Bluefield, VA; many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews whom he was very generous to. Charles was adored by the many friends that he made through the years. Comfort can be found in one of his final statements after his eleven year battle, “I am at peace”.

There is comfort in knowing that he was ready to meet his Lord and Savior face to face.
