Charles L. Lippincott, Jr., 90, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. Charles was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late Charles and Ruth (Grube) Lippincott. Charles was married to the former Joann Cooper for 62 years until her passing in 2008.

He served in the US Navy during World War II. Charles was a mechanic for James River (Dixie Cup) until retiring in 1992. He loved to hunt and fish.

Charles was a member of Our Lady of Mercy / St. Bernard’s Oratory, Safety First Volunteer Fire Company, Citizen’s Hose Co. of Easton, Fleas Club of Easton, and Stockertown Rod & Gun Club. Charles is survived by sons John Charles Lippincott and wife Genie, Robert Edward Lippincott and wife Linda, Kevin Michael Lippincott and wife Michelle; daughters Bonnie Harding, Carol Peternell and husband Andy; grandchildren Lisa, Michele Fessenden, Robert Lippincott, Timothy Lippincott, Michael Harding, Jennifer Harding Rausch, Penni Harding Pysher, Kevin Todd Lippincott, Angela Lippincott Pelonero, Nancy Lippincott Pollio, Seth Lippincott, Ben Zuckerman, and Sean Zuckerman; great-grandchildren Charlotte, Dylan, Sarah, McKenzie, Mason, Dylan, Danika, seven more great-grandchildren; a great-grandson due in July; and a beloved nephew Kip Simons and wife Bette of Philadelphia. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by a son-in-law Wayne; a grandchild Shari Harding; sisters Marie Lozensky, Miriam “Mim” Wallace; and best friend and hunting buddy Ronald Gougher.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Saturday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 am in Our Lady of Mercy / St. Bernard’s Oratory, 132 South 5th Street, Easton. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
