Brian D. Clifford, 78, of Forks Twp. , PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 surrounded by his loving family, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem. Brian was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late Clair Carlos and Amelia (Bosco) Clifford.

Brian was married to the former Roslyn Rosato, with whom he celebrated 57 years of marriage last May. He was a graduate of Easton high school, class of 1957; and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from East Stroudsburg University. Brian was an English teacher for local High Schools, an Adjunct Professor for Northampton Community College and a teacher for Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts.

He enjoyed playing jazz piano. He was a music and literature buff, but most of all was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Brian was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.

In addition to his wife, Brian is survived by a son Brian D. Clifford Jr., and wife Caroline of Hellertown; daughters Kelly Rambo-Williams and husband Simon “Jake” of Forks Twp. , Shawn Blasco and husband Anthony of Bethlehem, Erin Balukas and husband Edward of Easton; grandchildren Will, Grace, Marco, Sofia, Hayden, Katerina, Luke, Andrew, Curtis, Olivia, and Victoria. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Monday from 9:15 am to 10:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:45 am in Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 132 South 5th Street, Easton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Roseto, PA.

Contributions in Brian’s memory may be made to Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 132 South 5th Street, Easton, PA 18042, or to Northampton Community College Foundation, toward student scholarships, 3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020.
