Eilee Elizabet Recchia , February 27, 1945 — June 24, 2018

Eileen Elizabeth Recchia, 73, of College Hill, Easton, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 in St. Luke’s Hospital-Bethlehem surrounded by her family. Born February 27, 1945, in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Priscilla Q. (Moyle) Maguire. She and her husband, Nicholas Recchia, celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on November 2, 2017.

Eileen owned and operated Eileen Recchia Hair Design, College Hill, Easton, for over 50 years. She graduated from Easton High School Class of 1963 and Empire Beauty School. Eileen was a member of College Hill Presbyterian Church and had been a member of the former Olivet Presbyterian Church.

She was also a member of The Pomfret Club, Easton Area Corvette Club and College Hill Neighborhood Association. Her and her husband’s home was featured on the Historic Easton House Tour four times. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend.

Eileen most enjoyed spending time with her family, especially hosting weekly dinners and holiday gatherings. Eileen will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her husband, Nicholas. ; a son, Nicholas, Jr. and his wife Melissa and three grandchildren, Alayna, Andrew and Alisyn, all of Palmer Township; a sister-in-law, Carol Fehr; a niece, Debra McCluskey; nephews, Paul McCluskey, Raymond McCluskey and his wife Nancy, and Dana Fehr and his wife Lisa; great-nieces, Leanna and Rachel McCluskey, and Cadence Fehr; great-nephews, Jason and R.J. McCluskey; cousins, Donna McCatharn and her husband Harry, and C. Stewart “Skip” Smith and his wife Estelle.

She was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Paul McCluskey, Sr., and a niece, Marcella Smith. Services will be held at 11am Friday in College Hill Presbyterian Church, 501 Brodhead Street, Easton. Call Thursday 5-7pm in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough and Friday 10-11am in the church.
