Ruth N. Illick, 93, formerly of Easton, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 in Valley Manor Nursing Home, Coopersburg. Born March 11, 1925, in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Roy M., Sr. and Edith May (Vogel) Fulmer. Her husband, Robert C. Illick, Sr., died February 6, 1982.

Ruth graduated from Easton High School Class of 1942. She retired in 1985 from the former Lafayette Trust Bank where she was an assistant treasurer for 15 years. Previously, she was an office clerk/bookkeeper for the former Straup’s Pharmacy.

Ruth had been a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for 20 years. She had been an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where she was named the first St. Paul’s Saint in 2005, had been a member of Lutheran Church Women, was a former choir member and former Sunday school teacher. Years ago, Ruth was a caregiver and frequent visitor to many older church friends.

Surviving are four sons, Robert C., Jr. and his wife Kathy, of Loveland, CO, Daniel R. and his wife Donna, of Shelbyville, KY, Martin D. and his fiancée Julie, of Coopersburg, PA and Richard W. and his wife Jill, of Kingston, TN; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Reba Morrison and a brother, Roy M. Fulmer, Jr. Services will be held at 11:15am Wednesday in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 610 W. Berwick Street, Easton. Call Wednesday 10-11am in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 602 W. Berwick Street, Easton.

Burial will be in Hay’s Cemetery, Easton. Offer online condolences at www. strunkfh.com.
