Ricky S. Starner, 57, of Moore Township, formerly of Easton, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 in University of Pennsylvania Hospital. Born March 20, 1961 in Easton, PA, he was a son of the late Catherine E. (Phillips) Garrity. He and his wife, Kimberly (Hartman) Starner, would have celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary on September 15, 2018.

Ricky graduated from Easton Area High School. He last worked for D.S.C. Logistics. He was a driver for Aerni & Hitzel.

Ricky enjoyed bowling, shuffleboard, bingo and taking care of his car. He was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR. He was a member of New Creation United Church of Christ where he enjoyed helping with baking pasties.

He was proud to attend AA meetings to speak and encourage others. Years ago, he was a member of many area social clubs. Surviving in addition to his wife Kimberly are a son, Josh Starner, and a daughter, Kayla Rodriguez and her husband Joseph, all of Bethlehem; two sisters, Cindy Savercool and her husband Barry, of Easton and Wendy Dietz and her husband John, of Pen Argyl; five grandchildren, Madasyn, Masen, Chase, Levi and Jayden.

He was predeceased by his brother, Dale Starner. A memorial service will be held at 4:30pm Wednesday in New Creation United Church of Christ, 3730 Nicholas Street, Palmer Township. Call Wednesday 3:00-4:30m in the church.
