Ronald N. Hunt, 80, of Wilson Borough, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 in Easton Hospital. Born August 27, 1938, in Easton, PA, he was a son of the late Walter Hunt and Ethel (Hannie) Doll. Ron graduated in 1956 from Wilson High School.

He was retired as an accountant from James River Corporation formerly Dixie Cup Company, where he worked for 35 years. Ron was an avid bowler and one of the best quoit players in the area. He coached Little League Baseball for Wilson Borough.

He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and many area social clubs. Surviving are a son, Herbert “Wally” Hunt, of Easton; three daughters, Cathy Hunt Islamoski and her husband Al, of Staten Island, NY, Dody Hunt and Evelyn Harrison and her husband Michael, all of Wilson Borough; a brother, Craig Landis, of Ocean City, NJ; and three grandchildren, Ryan Hunt, Tori Viola and Jessica Harrison. A memorial service will be held at 6pm Friday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough.
