Theresa M. McInerney, 56, of Bethlehem, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 in St. Luke’s Hospice House. Born July 22, 1962, in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late John R. and Theresa (Kasperkoski) McInerney. Terry graduated from Easton Area High School in 1980 and received a B.S. degree in nursing from Penn State University.

She was a registered nurse for Extended Family Care, Allentown, for five years. She worked for various area home health agencies in the area. Besides taking care of her patients, Terry enjoyed spending time with her three grandchildren, her church, shopping and animals.

She was a member of Steel City Mennonite Church. Surviving are a daughter, Victoria Young and her husband Nick, of Coopersburg; two brothers, John McInerney and his wife Frances, of Saylorsburg and Billy McInerney, of Bethlehem; two sisters, Karen Ashman, of Surfside Beach, SC and Marilyn Bybee, of Allentown; and three grandchildren, Abby, Ellie and Nathan; three nieces, Melissa, Sarah and Tegan and one nephew Jason. A memorial service will be held at 11am Wednesday, September 19th in Steel City Mennonite Church, 2137 Mixsell Avenue, Bethlehem, PA 18015.

Guests are welcome and invited to a luncheon immediately following services, also in the church. Arrangements are by the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place, Suite 170, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
