Michael P. Selvaggio, 33, of Bethlehem, passed away suddenly Thursday, July 12, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, after being stricken at work. Born February 13, 1985 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of Stephen F. and Teresa A. (Bouman) Selvaggio, of Bethlehem Township. He and his wife, Ashli B. (Vitko) Selvaggio, celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on June 21, 2018.

Mike was a 2004 graduate of Notre Dame High School. He was employed by the family business, Selvaggio & Sons Plumbing & Heating, Inc. Mike was a wonderful husband and daddy who loved spending time with his family, especially his wife and son whom he adored. He loved life, pleasing people and was a huge family guy who enjoyed celebrating the 4th of July.

He also enjoyed traveling and marital arts. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are a son, Michael Christian “Mikey” Selvaggio, at home; three brothers, Stephen R. Selvaggio and his wife Marjan, of Bethlehem, and Nicholas P. and Mathew J. Selvaggio, both of Bethlehem Township; maternal grandparents, Robert and Patsy Bouman, of Bethlehem Township; in-laws, Robert and Linda Vitko, of Forks Township; three sisters-in-law, Kimberly Vitko, of Easton, Colleen Smith and her husband Bryan, of Nazareth, and Bobbi Vitko, of Forks Township; nieces and a nephew, Mila Selvaggio, Kailyn Fulmer, Kyler Wagner, Brianna, Cassidy and Ella Smith; his dogs, Diesel and Stella; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Stephen J. and Christine A. Selvaggio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Tuesday in Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3219 Santee Road, Bethlehem. Call Monday 4-7pm and Tuesday 10-11am in the church.

Private interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery. The Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough, is in charge of arrangements. Offer online condolences at www.
