Bertha M. “Becky” Westbrooks, 72, of Williams Township, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 in St. Luke’s Hospital-Anderson Campus. Born September 18, 1946, in Wilson Borough, PA, she was a daughter of Donald Sutton, of Vermont and the late Agnes M. (Hartenstine) Sutton. She and her husband, John K. Westbrooks, celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on April 2, 2018.

Becky graduated from Easton High School Class of 1964 and Churchman’s Business School. She was last employed by The Gardens at Easton. Previously, she was an assistant to the controller of the former Valley Federal Savings and Loan and had worked for Schaible’s Bakery.

Becky loved her large extended family and was known as the family historian. She enjoyed attending the sporting events of her grandchildren, watching sports on television, reading, and working puzzles. Becky loved her pets.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where she formerly served on church council and was a volunteer at the food pantry. Becky was a member of Williams Township Athletic Association where she had been secretary. She bowled in leagues at Bar-Don Lanes.

Surviving in addition to her husband and father are a daughter, Lori Seese and her husband Robert, of Wilson Borough; two sons, Joel Westbrooks and his wife Tamme, of Williams Township and Josh Westbrooks and his wife Tonja, of Charlotte, NC; a brother, Dave Sutton and his wife Kay, of Palmer Township; a sister, Darlene Hartz and her husband Dormel, of Bethlehem Township and five grandchildren, April, Bobbie Jo, Natasha and Tucker Seese and Brady Westbrooks. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by a brother, Duane Sutton. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Friday in Northampton Memorial Shrine, 3051 Green Pond Road, Palmer Township.
