Robert N. Brown, Sr., 76, formerly of Easton, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 in Gracedale. Born April 1, 1942, in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was a son of the late Joseph Shiller and Grace (Brown) Steckel. He and his wife, Jean (Groff) Brown, were married for over 50 years.

Bob retired from Easton Hospital where he worked for 31 years in the housekeeping department. He loved family gatherings during the holidays and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Bob enjoyed fishing and watching WWF wresting and football.

Bob was a member of the former VFW Post 1290, Easton. Surviving in addition to his wife, Jean, are a son, Robert N. Brown, Jr., of Forks Township; a daughter, Marian J. Garr, of Forks Township; a brother, Joseph Shiller, of Tatamy; a sister, Laura Scott, of Bethlehem Township and two grandsons, Stephen and Matthew Garr, both of Forks Township. He was predeceased by a brother, Albert Shiller and a sister, Helen Shiller.

Services will be held at 2pm Tuesday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough. Call Tuesday 1-2pm in the funeral home. Offer online condolences at www.
