Mary E. Smith, 86, of Palmer Township, PA, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospice-Inpatient Unit, Allentown. Born August 8, 1931, in Hackettstown, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Christine (Tomczk) Levonuk. Her husband of 44 years, Marvin L. Smith, died September 24, 1998.

Mary was a dedicated volunteer for many years at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, St. Francis Friary and Easton Hospital. She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. Surviving are a son, John M. Smith and his wife Jennifer, of Catasauqua; a daughter, Mary Andrews and her husband Dennis, of Easton; a sister, Christine Misczenski, of Easton; two granddaughters, Bethany and Sophia and three nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a twin brother, John Levonuk and a sister, Pauline VanSyckle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am Wednesday in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Township. Entombment will be in St. Anthony’s Mausoleum.
