Lucy M. Mertz of Easton passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at Old Orchard Nursing Home. She was the wife of Albert. T. Mertz, Jr., to whom she was married to for 61 years.

Born July 21, 1936 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Gymory) Martino. Lucy was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. In addition to her husband, Lucy is survived by a daughter, Lorie Mertz of Wilson Borough; two sons, Thomas Mertz of Nazareth and Alan Mertz and wife Rhonda (Nigro) Mertz of Wilson Borough; five grandchildren Nicole, Lora, Josh, Jason and LuAnn; six great grandsons Tyler, Julian, Brody, Liam, Landon and Colton and a seventh great grandson named Anthony Wyatt who is to arrive May 24.

She is preceded in death by a brother, John Martino and a sister, Irene Grine. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp. ), followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 noon in the funeral home.

Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Williams Twp. Memorial contributions in Lucy’s memory may be made to any of the following organizations The American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Pl #170, Bethlehem, PA 18017, The Alzheimer’s Association at www. alz.org or The Autism Awareness Association, Inc., at P.O.
