Obituary for Charles Ray Thompson Sr. Wilson – Home Going services for Mr. Charles Ray Thompson, Sr., 80, of Healdton are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, Dec. 28, 2018 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Bro. Jim Duck Officiating.

Interment will follow at Provence Cemetery in Ardmore. Charles was born March 16, 1938 at Ardmore to the late Charlie William Thompson and Dovie (Jones) Thompson. He departed this life on Tuesday, Dec.

25, 2018 at his home in Healdton. Charles was one of eleven children. There were five boys and six girls and they moved frequently from Oklahoma to California following farm work.

His sister, baby Pearl, passed away at a very early age. Ken who was a twin brother to Tim, also passed away in a car accident during his teenage years. Through the years, Charles also lost his parents, his sisters, Hazel, Ruth, Callie, Gloria and Bessie, his children, Charlie, Gerald, Cheryl and Cynthia and his grandchildren, Levi and Louie.

Charles worked most of his years as a carpenter and a roofer, remodeling numerous houses in the area. He always enjoyed having a garden and loved to fish and watch football and westerns. Charles always liked to visit and loved the Lord with his whole heart.

He attended the River of Life Pentecostal Church of Wilson. Survivors include his Daughter, Karen Lytle and husband Gary of Healdton; sons, Ira Keith Thompson of California and Gavin Thompson of Pauls Valley; brothers, Fred Thompson and wife Ruth, Tim Thompson all of Ardmore and Roy Thompson of Woodland, CA; grandchildren, Bryan Adams and wife Angela, Cody Adams and wife Jessica, Eric Lytle and wife Heather, Misty Milor and husband Blake, Shane Lytle and wife Kourtney, Brandon Christensen and wife Amy, Heather, Tara and Cindy Thompson, Chase Thompson and fiance’ Daniel, Tristin Thompson and Chris Mabry; great grandchildren, Dylan Adams and Paxton Thompson and 13 other great grandchildren; numerous other family, church family and friends. Casket Bearers will be Brandon Christensen, Cody Adams, Dylan Adams, P.G. Grace, Joseph Brown, Jeremy Underwood, D.J. Thompson and Eric Lytle.

Honorary Bearers are Chris Grace, Mitchell Ingram and Billy Dunn. Family visitation will be held from 6pm to 8 pm Thursday evening at Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson. Condolences may be sent online at www.
