Charles William Jones, 86, of Verona, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018. He was a welder and a US Navy veteran serving in Korea. He was born on September 11, 1931 to Alexander and Fannie Jones, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is, also, preceded in death by his brother, Wendell Jones. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Dora Jones; sons, Gary W. and Randy (Nancy) Jones; daughters, Lisa Ann (Troy) Green and Paula Renee Wayman; 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren. Burial with military honors will be in Rice Cemetery, Union. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Shriners Hospitals for Children 3229 Burnet Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45229 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
