Chelsea Morris AUSTINTOWN – Chelsea Morris, 30, passed away suddenly Friday, October 19, 2018. She was born October 14, 1988 to Cheryl Morris and the late James T. Morris. Chelsea was a 2007 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School.

She fought a long uphill battle with mental illness and drug addiction. She spent many years in rehab and still could not beat the demons that plagued her. Her soul is now at peace.

Chelsea’s favorite poem was Invictus by William Ernest Henley. She said that the last two lines was her mantra. “I am the master of my life; I am the captain of my soul”.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Cheryl Morris; son, Liam C. Morris; best friend, MelissaConway; grandma, Eleanor Zuby; aunts Cindi Zuby and Lynette Maurice. Chelsea is preceded in death by her father James T. Morris; uncle, William A. Zuby, and her grandpa William Zuby. No services will be held.

A Go Fund Me page has been set up by her friends Jodi Sinn and Valerie Hedgdus. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Directors at the Conley and Vanden Berg Funeral Home.
