Obituary for Cheryl Claudine Kosman (Dyer) Cheryl Kosman, 67, of Independence, MO passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 am Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the chapel.

Burial will take place in Buckner Hill Cemetery. Cheryl was born on August 24, 1951 in Independence, MO to Joseph “J.C.” and Helen (Vinyard) Dyer. She was a graduate of William Chrisman High School.

Cheryl enjoyed crafts, shopping, board games, watching the Hallmark Channel, camping with her husband but mostly spending time with her family. Cheryl was dearly loved and will be forever missed by her family and friends. Survivors include; her husband of 40 years Gary Kosman; son Jason Eagleson; daughter Angela Payne, sisters Diane Rinke and Bridget Towery; brothers Brent Sanders and Bruce Sanders; 5 granddaughters; 1 great grandson; a large extended family and many friends.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents J.C. Dyer and Helen and Robert Sanders as well as her brother Wayne Dyer.
