Obituary for Cheryl Walls (Swiger) Cheryl Swiger Walls, age 71, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida died Sunday, April 22, 2018, at her residence. Born in Clarksburg, to Jaba and Doris Swiger, on February 23, 1947, Cheryl and her family moved to Edgewater, FL in 1984. Early on, Cheryl worked as a beautician, and later in life, as a cafeteria assistant for Volusia County Schools, specifically at New Smyrna Beach High School and Indian River Elementary, all in FL.

Her most rewarding job, however, was spent as a homemaker, taking care of her two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, baking and volunteering countless hours at the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4250, where she held an officer position for several years. Cheryl touched the lives of so many people, and was loved by all that knew her.

Survivors include her mother, Doris, of Shinnston; daughters, Dana Wall, of Edgewater, FL and Susan Walls, of New Smyrna Beach, FL; three grandchildren, Morgan Faye, Nicole Lizabeth and Gunner Joseph, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Lumberport Lions Club Cemetery, alongside her beloved brother, with Eric Hustead, Jewel City Church, officiating.
