Obituary for Lawrence Davisson Lawrence Lee “Lonnie” Davisson, 61, of Clarksburg passed away suddenly on June 5, 2018 at his residence. He was born August 23, 1956 a son of Helen Nay of Clarksburg and the late Lawrence Davisson and his step-father, the late Charles Powers. Also deceased is his sister, Karen Diane Davisson; and his uncle, Robert “Bud” Moats.

He is survived by his wife, DiAnna Fury Davisson, whom he married Feb 2, 1990; his son Justin Davisson and his wife Amy of Bridgeport; three grandchildren, Hunter, Noah, and Bentley; his brothers, Bradley Davisson, Clarksburg, Chuck Powers and his wife Barbara, Clarksburg, and Michael Powers and wife DeeDee, Haywood; his sister-in law, Deborah Southern and her husband, Jack; Brothers-in-law, Greg Fury and his wife, LouAnne, and Gary Fury and his wife, Tami; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends. Lonnie loved to ride his Harley and anything that had to do with the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and loved doing all these things with his wife and son that he loved dearly.

Friends will be received at the Harmer Funeral Home, 300 Pike St., Shinnston from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2018 with a funeral service at 11:30. Pastor Tim Sandy will officiate and Interment will follow at Lions Club Cemetery, Lumberport. Online memories and condolences may be shared at www.
