Obituary for Roger Stonebreaker Roger “Stoney” Stonebreaker, 72, of Lumberport, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at his home with his family at his side. He was born December 19, 1945 a son of the late Earl and Violet Amos Stonebreaker. Roger is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Rosalee Baldwin Stonebreaker.
Also surviving are his children, Dwayne, Nancy, Bonnie, and Belinda Stonebreaker; Rachelle Dye and her husband Michael of Richmond Hill, GA; Rose Farlow and her husband Remon of Lumberport; Diana King of California; and Eddie Casto and his companion Charlotte of Lumberport; his grandchildren, Corry, A.J., and Sean Dye; Ryan, Bryon, and Richie Knight; Macailee, Quinton, and Jon Paul Koernig; and Sierra, Trey, and Austin Casto; 14 great-grandchildren; his brother, Danny Stonebreaker and his wife Ginger of Lumberport; his sisters, Debra Flannigan and her husband James of Lumberport; and Ester Price of Folsom; his sisters-in-law, Faye Stonebreaker of Lumberport; and Carol Stonebreaker of Clarksburg; close friends, Jason Glascock and his wife Candice; Linda Criss; and Laney; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his granddaughters, Kyrston and Tabatha Koernig; brothers, Eugene, Ralph, Dale, and Donnie Stonebreaker; and his sister, Alice Rhodes. Roger was an avid outdoorsman.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles and hunting. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #929 in Shinnston as well as the Orioles Nest #285. Roger had a great sense of humor.
He loved his family, friends, and his dog Jasmine, cats Sugar and Socks, and his horse Prince. The family will receive friends at Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St. Shinnston; on Thursday from 2-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 26th at 11:00 AM with Pastor George Heitman officiating.
