Obituary for Richard Nuzum Richard Lee Nuzum 71, of Salem WV passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at his home. He was born September 22, 1947, a son of the late Robert Righter Nuzum and Virginia Laura Davis Nuzum of Shinns Run at McAlpine Community. Also deceased is his son Jamie Nuzum.

He is survived by his sister Patricia Jo Nuzum Martin of Bassel Addition, Clarksburg; two daughters Misty Harte and Kristy Nuzum of Clarksburg. Richard attended Shinnston Schools and loved to tell jokes and stories. He wrote beautiful poems which he shared with his beloved people at the Coons Run Baptist Church.

Richard loved his pastor and his church. In keeping with his wishes, Richard will be cremated and ashes scattered on Bauld Knob on Shinns Runn. A short memorial will be on Sunday October 21, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Coon’s Run Baptist Church, Adamsville with Pastor Max “Sonny” Palmer officiating.
