Chester Stewart July 13, 1949 – January 22, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Chester Stewart, 69, of Pampa, passed away January 22, 2019 in Pampa. There are no services scheduled at this time. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mr. Stewart was born July 13, 1949 to Clyde Moore and Grace Stewart in Jackson, Ohio. He married Suzanna Hudson on March 20, 1992 in Ohio. They moved to Pampa in 1997.

Chester attended Amarillo Technical Institute. After completing the program, he enlisted the U. S. Army to serve in the 82nd Airborne. After his discharge, Chester entered the commercial trucking industry.

He was loved by his family and greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife, Suzanna Stewart of the home; his sons, Dion-Scott Lee Stewart, Jacob Wesley Stewart and Howard Stewart, all of Pampa, Sam Stewart and wife Beth and Brian Stewart, all of Ohio, Chester William Stewart, Jr. and Ivan Stewart and wife Taryn, all of Oklahoma, Jeremy Stewart of McLean, and John-Nathan William Stewart and significant other JJ Staggs of Tyler; his daughters, Amanda Jean Stewart and Janetta Smith, both of Ohio; his sisters, Renee Cupp and Janie Cupp, both of Ohio; a brother, Terry Cupp of Ohio; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Chester was preceded in death by daughters, Ranglean Stewart, August Tina Stewart and Sasha Stewart.
